Edith was born in 1916. Edith's father was James Edwin STAFFORD and her mother was Eliza WATTS.  Her paternal grandparents were James STAFFORD and Mary WHITAKER. She had three brothers named James, William and Albert.  She was the youngest of the four children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Stanley and Marion.  She died at the age of 25 in 1941.
