George Edward's father was Andrew Ross FAULKNER and his mother was Marie Louise DAGON. His paternal grandparents were William FAULKNER and Ellen Anne SWAN. He had four brothers and four sisters, named James Alex, Jules Andrew, Ross Percival, William Manton, Alice Louise, Margaret Ellen, Edith Grace and Jean Mavis. He was the sixth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 55 on December 23rd, 1960 in Mt Gambier.
