Roy Lancaster was born on October 4th, 1892 in Ballarat. Roy Lancaster's father was Alfred George CURTHOYS and his mother was Ada Marion WILLETTS.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph CURTHOYS and Eliza LANCASTER; his maternal grandparents were George WILLETTS and Maria DOYLE. He had a brother and two sisters, named Clive Willetts, Ada Willetts and Brenda Cora.  He was the oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 78 on September 24th, 1971 in Melbourne.
