Place of death that was noted on his (G.R.) will - Collingwood, Melbourne, Victoria. Victorian Death Cert No. 1971/1427 states that the death of George ROBINSON was registered in 1871. He died in Hospital (Gipps Ward) in the City of Melbourne, in the County of Bourke. His father was registered as George ROBINSON (Seaman) and his mother was registered as Ellen ROBINSON (nee Brazier)

George arrived from Yorkshire on the “Moffat" in 31-May-1841(?). At the time of his death he had spent 30 years in Victoria - He came out to OZ when he was aged 27 (i.e. 1841). or... George ROBINSON aboard the "Ferguson" in 1841 to Port Phillip in the Colony of NSW (Reel 2143A, [4/4813] Page 93).
