Maria Marianne Elizabeth Green

Maria was born on February 12th, 1815 in Camberwell, Surrey, England and her christening took place on February 12th, 1815 in St Giles Anglican Church, Camberwell, Surry, England.¹ Maria's father was Amaziah John Green and her mother was Mary Ann Chapel. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Green and Betty Matthewman. She had four brothers and four sisters, named William, George, Henry, Thomas, Mary, Sarah, Charlotte and Georgina. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 70 on January 13th, 1886 in Boundary Road, South Brisbane, Queensland. She was buried on January 14th, 1886 in Toowong Cemetery, Brisbane, Qld, Australia.¹¹

- (there is another person, COOMBES Margaretta Barbara buried in same plot, the second was 17yrs 11mths approx after Maria was laid to rest.)
