  NSW Birth Cert No 17024/1891 states that Tom F CLAYTON was born in 1891 and registered in the district of Hurstville, NSW. His father was Horatio N CLAYTON and his mother was Flora E Clayton (nee Leeder).

Tom's father was Horatio Nickson Clayton and his mother was Flora (Flo or Florrie) Elizabeth Leeder. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Richard Clayton and Mary Ann(e) Hayes; his maternal grandparents were Thomas King Leeder and Sarah Elizabeth McDonald. He was an only child. He died at 4 months old on December 26th, 1891. He was buried on December 27th, 1891 in St Peters Anglican Church Graveyard, Cooks River Road, St Peters, NSW.²³
