Sarah (Adelaide) Jane Adelaide Clayton

Sarah, known as Adelaide, was born in 1888 in Newtown area, Sydney NSW.¹

Birth Notes
- NSW Birth Cert No. 8951/1888 states that in 1888 in the Newtown area, Sarah I CLAYTON was born. Her father was James CLAYTON and her mother was Alice CLAYTON.

Adelaide's father was James Clayton and her mother was Alice E. Her paternal grandparents were James Clayton and Jane Raper. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Tom, William, Sydney, William, James, George, John, Alice, Sadie, Elsie and Julia. She died at the age of 79 on April 27th, 1967 in Harbord, Sydney NSW.²

Death Notes
- NSW Death Cert No. 22309/1967 states that, in 1967, Sarah Jane A CLARKE (nee Clayton) died in the Manly area of Sydney. Her father's name was James CLAYTON and her mother's name was Alice CLAYTON.
