Sarah Jane Clayton

Sarah was born in 1870 in St George district NSW.¹

Birth Notes
- NSW Birth Cert No. 5131/1870 states that Sarah Jane CLAYTON was born in 1870 to James and Jane (nee Raper) CLAYTON, in the St George district of NSW.

Sarah's father was James Clayton and her mother was Jane Raper. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Clayton and Elizabeth Allmon; her maternal grandparents were Edward Raper and Ann Boulton. She had six brothers and a sister, named Joseph, James, William, John, George, Alfred and Anne. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 76 in 1946. She was buried in 1946 in Rookwood Cemetery, NSW.¹

  NSW DEATH Cert No. 21699/1946 states that in 1946 Sarah Jane PRIESTLEY died in the district of Rozelle. Her father was James CLAYTON and her mother was Jane CLAYTON (nee Raper).
