- Joseph CLAYTON arrived as a convict on the convict ship Malabar in Sydney NSW on the 30-Oct-1819 having sailed from Spithead, England on the 17-Jun-1819, a journey of 135 days. There had been 173 convicts that left England and 170 to arrive in Sydney. The ship's master was William Ascough and the ship's surgeon was Evan Evans.
