Caroline was born in 1812 in Doncaster, England.1   Caroline's father was Joseph Clayton and her mother was Harriot Timms. She had two sisters named Maria and Matilda.  She was the youngest of the three children. She had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Joseph, George, Thomas, James, Anne and Elizabeth.  She died on September 30th, 1812 in Doncaster, England.1
