Kevin was born on April 15th, 1911 in Mt Morgan, Qld.¹

- Qld Birth Cert No. 1911/C9113 states that, in 1911, Maurice Joseph Halberstater (known as Kevin) was born. His father's name was Maurice Halberstater and his mother's namw was Elizabeth Halberstater (nee O'Donnell).
  
  He was Christened as Kevin Joseph.

Kevin's father was Maurice Joseph Halberstater and his mother was Elizabeth (Lizzie) Margaret O'Donnell. His paternal grandparents were Adolf Halberstaedter and Ann Feran; his maternal grandparents were William John O'Donnell and Mary Anne Clancy. He had two brothers and a sister, named Jack, Bill and Mamie. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 74 on August 11th, 1985.
