Anne (Annie) Halberstaedter

Anne, known as Annie, was born on May 2nd, 1868 in Mount Brewer, South Rockhampton, Qld delivered by Archibald Clinton Robertson, Mrs Ferguson.¹

  Father was 36 and mother was 30 at the time of Anne's birth.

Annie's father was Adolf Halberstaedter and her mother was Ann Feran. Her paternal grandparents were Louis (Ludwig) Halberstädter and Johanna Landsberg; her maternal grandparents were Patrick Feran and Catherine Macabie. She had a brother and a sister, named Louis and Leah. She was the second oldest of the three children. She had a half-brother named Maurice. She died of an unknown cause, Auricular Fibrillation, Cardiac Disease, at the age of 61 on May 19th, 1929 in Lancaster Road, Rose Bay, Sydney NSW. The funeral took place on May 20th, 1929 in General Cemetery, South Head, NSW and was arranged by Walter Carter. She was buried on May 20th, 1929 in South Head Cemetery, Sydney, NSW.²²

Anne's parents had been married on 20th April, 1867 at Rockhampton Qld. There was no previous issue from this marriage indicated on Anne's birth certificate.
