Harold was born on November 11th, 1886 in Leyton, Essex, England.1   Harold's father was Thomas Oxley Boughtwood and his mother was Annie  Matilda (Unknown).  His paternal grandparents were Thomas  Boughtwood and Sophie Jane Oxley. He had a brother and three sisters, named Ernest, Gertrude, Edith and Kathleen.  He died at the age of 76 on May 31st, 1963 in Newport NSW.2
