Suzannah was born in 1851.1   Suzannah's father was Alfred Beaumont and her mother was Emma Marion Collins.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Beaumont and Sarah; her maternal grandparents were Abraham (Alfred) Collins and Sarah. She had two brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Alexander and Emma.  She was the oldest of the four children.
