John WOOLDRIDGE

John was born on November 17th, 1816 in Great Shefford and his christening took place there on November 17th, 1816. John's father was William WOOLDRIDGE and his mother was Rachel MARINER. His paternal grandparents were John WOOLDRIDGE and Jane TAYLOR; his maternal grandparents were William MARINER and Mary GOSLING. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Henry, Charles, Stephen, Job, Caleb, Jacob, Jesse, Isaac, Mary, Jane and Leah. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 80 in October 1897 in Reading.
