Ann was born in 1841.  Ann's father was Daniel WHEELER and her mother was Charlotte ALLEN.  Her paternal grandparents were Daniel ILSLEY and Frances WHEELER; her maternal grandparents were Thomas ALLEN and Jane. She had four brothers and two sisters, named George, James, Daniel, William, Elizabeth and Cecilia.  She was the third oldest of the seven children.
