Elizabeth was born in 1793 in West Thorney and her baptism took place there on May 12th, 1793.  Elizabeth's father was John TUCKEY and her mother was Ann Clerke. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, John, Henry, Ann, Amy, Sarah and Lucy.  She was the oldest of the eight children.
