Ann was born in 1798 in West Thorney and her baptism took place there on January 7th, 1798.  Ann's father was John TUCKEY and her mother was Ann Clerke. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, John, Henry, Elizabeth, Amy, Sarah and Lucy.  She was the third oldest of the eight children.
