William SILK

William was born on January 27th, 1734 in Dry Drayton. William's father was Thomas SILK and his mother was Rose SMITH. His paternal grandparents were William SILK and Rose HINKIN; his maternal grandparents were Abraham SMITH and Susanna HEYLOCK. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, James, Benjamin, Robert, John, Ann, Rose and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 66 on January 13th, 1801 in Dry Drayton.
