Mary was born in December 1680 in Dry Drayton.  Mary's father was John SILK and her mother was Margaret BLUNT.  Her paternal grandparents were John SILK and Joan RUSSELL. She had four brothers and four sisters, named William, Robert, John, William, Elizabeth, Ann, Jude and Martha.  She was the third youngest of the nine children.  She died by stillbirth or at birth in December 1680 in Dry Drayton.
