James SILK

James was born on October 14th, 1739 in Dry Drayton. James' father was Thomas SILK and his mother was Rose SMITH. His paternal grandparents were William SILK and Rose HINKIN; his maternal grandparents were Abraham SMITH and Susanna HEYLOCK. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William, Thomas, Benjamin, Robert, John, Ann, Rose and Elizabeth. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
