John SEWELL

John was born in 1859 in Thorpe Morieux and his baptism took place there on June 19th, 1859. John's father was Edward SEWELL and his mother was Ann BIRD. His maternal grandparents were Isaac BIRD and Susan GRIDLEY. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Edward, Edward, Albert, Edward, Eliza, Mary and Alice. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He had two half-brothers named Henry and James.
