Angel's father was Alfredo SANCHEZ and his mother was Victoria TORRES. His paternal grandparents were Domingo SANCHEZ and Ana VIAGAS; his maternal grandparents were Anselmo TORRES and Maria MARTINEZ. He had two brothers named Anselmo and Domingo. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 51 in 1975.
