Hannah was born in 1804 in Stoughton and her baptism took place there on January 8th, 1804.  Hannah's father was George PETT and her mother was Mary SMITH. She had four brothers and six sisters, named George, James, William, John, Elizabeth, Mary, Pheobe, Jane, Lucy and Ann.  She was the third youngest of the eleven children.
