Ann was born in 1807 in Stoughton and her baptism took place there on August 16th, 1807.  Ann's father was George PETT and her mother was Mary SMITH. She had four brothers and six sisters, named George, James, William, John, Elizabeth, Mary, Pheobe, Jane, Lucy and Hannah.  She was the youngest of the eleven children.
