John MORTLOCK

John was born on June 13th, 1852 in Shimpling. John's father was George MORTLOCK and his mother was Frances Jane WOODGATE. His paternal grandparents were Edward MORTLOCK and Mary Ann RAIMAN. He had two brothers and two sisters, named George, William, Eliza and Anna. He was the second oldest of the five children. He had a half-brother and five half-sisters, named Luke, Jane, Lucy, Kate, Amelia and Hannah. He died at the age of 19 on July 11th, 1871 in Shimpling.
