James MORTLOCK

James was born on November 11th, 1797 in Shimpling. James' father was Abraham MORTLOCK and his mother was Elizabeth UNGLES. His paternal grandparents were Samuel MORTLOCK and Mary CLARK. He had a brother and two sisters, named Peter, Elizabeth and Sarah. He was the third oldest of the four children. He had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Edward, Richard, William, John and Susan. He died at the age of 74 on June 16th, 1872 in Stanstead.
