Alfred James MANSFIELD

Alfred was born in June 1870 in Bermondsey. Alfred's father was Alfred Joseph MANSFIELD and his mother was Eliza QUELCH. His paternal grandparents were Richard John MANSFIELD and Eliza HOLLOWAY; his maternal grandparents were James QUELCH and Mary Ann WOOLDRIDGE. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Alfred, Lorenzo, Harry, Walter, Eugene, Mary, Elizabeth, Rachel, Lucretia and Maud. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 1 in December 1871 in Bermondsey.
