Alfred MANSFIELD

Alfred was born in 1870 in Bermondsey. Alfred's father was Alfred Joseph MANSFIELD and his mother was Eliza QUELCH. His paternal grandparents were Richard John MANSFIELD and Eliza HOLLOWAY; his maternal grandparents were James QUELCH and Mary Ann WOOLDRIDGE. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Alfred, Lorenzo, Harry, Walter, Eugene, Mary, Elizabeth, Rachel, Lucretia and Maud. He was the oldest of the eleven children.
