John LONG

John was born in 1863 in Cockfield and his baptism took place there on April 4th, 1863. John's father was Henry LONG and his mother was Emma WOODGATE. His paternal grandparents were Robert LONG and Harriet HOLLOCKS; his maternal grandparents were William WOODGATE and Maria JOHNSON (BAILEY). He had two brothers and three sisters, named William, Samuel, Anna, Emma and Sarah. He was the fourth oldest of the six children.
