Henrietta was born on July 20th, 1806 in Orpington and her christening took place there on August 17th, 1806.  Henrietta's father was Edward JEAL and her mother was Mary.  Her paternal grandparents were William JEAL and Elizabeth TODMAN. She had four brothers and five sisters, named James, Edward, William, Thomas, Jemima, Elizabeth, Sophia, Hannah and Hannah.  She was the third youngest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 85 on July 3rd, 1892.
