Robert Ambrose HODDY

Robert was born in July 1867 in Hitcham and his baptism took place there on July 28th, 1867. Robert's father was Robert HODDY and his mother was Eliza RISBY. His paternal grandparents were John HODDY and Ann RANSON; his maternal grandparents were Turner RISBY and Elizabeth BIRD. He had two brothers and two sisters, named William, Argie, Julia and Julia. He was the fourth oldest of the five children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William and Emilia. He died at the age of 39 on March 5th, 1907 in Hitcham.

Death Notes
- Grave stone at the rear of Hitcham Church reads "Robert Ambrose Hoddy, died 5.3.1907, age 39". The grave stone also records the death of his nephew, Stanley Barton. He died on 5 March 1907 in 1Hitcham, Suffolk, England
