George Lawrence HODDY

George was born on December 12th, 1893 in Hitcham and his baptism took place there on January 28th, 1894. George's father was John (Argie) Edgar HODDY and his mother was Jane RUSH. His paternal grandparents were Robert HODDY and Eliza RISBY. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Robert, Cecil, John, Evelyn, Alice, Gladys, Frances, Linda, Winifred and Emelda. He was the seventh oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 71 on January 15th, 1965 in London.
