Cecil Risby HODDY

Cecil was born on April 25th, 1895 in Hitcham and his baptism took place there on June 30th, 1895. Cecil's father was John (Argie) Edgar HODDY and his mother was Jane RUSH. His paternal grandparents were Robert HODDY and Eliza RISBY. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Robert, George, John, Evelyn, Alice, Gladys, Frances, Linda, Winifred and Emelda. He was the eighth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 79 on October 29th, 1974 in Braintree.

- From 1914 to 1918 Cecil's occupation was ASC full time in public administration in Syria and Palestine.
