Ann was born in 1819 in St Catherine.  Ann's father was Joseph GRIMBLE and her mother was Jane KAY.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert GRIMBLE and Ann; her maternal grandparents were James KAY and Anne HUTTON. She had a brother named Joseph.  She was the older of the two children.
