Salvador GARCIA

Salvador was born on May 22nd, 1861 in Gibraltar and her baptism took place on June 16th, 1861 at St Mary the Crowned. Salvador's father was Salvador GARCIA and her mother was Leonor Sebastiana ENRIGO. Her paternal grandparents were Fransisco GARCIA and Juana MAESTRE; her maternal grandparents were Pascual Mario ENRIGO and Teresa OLIVERA. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Joseph, Manuel, Teresa, Juana, Leonor, Encarnacion, Elisa and Magdalena. She was the oldest of the nine children.

- Salvador's occupation was Workman full time in Gibraltar.
  - Occupation Notes
    - In 1894 a previously undiscovered Moorish building with a lead coffin burried in its foundations was found while the Lighthouse Keepers' Quarters were being built at Europa Point. A detailed description of this building and room was given by one Salvador Garcia. It is not known if this Salvador is one and the same, however it would agree with the family legend told about Salvador where he found a chest of gold at Europa Point during excavations
