George Bowers GALLANT

George was born on April 30th, 1886 in Great Waldingfield and his baptism took place there on July 11th, 1886.

George's father was Joshua BOWERS and his mother was Anna Maria BIRD. His paternal grandparents were Peter BOWERS and Mary NICHOLSON; his maternal grandparents were George BIRD and Elizabeth RANSON. He had four brothers named Peter, Bowers, Harry and Benjamin. He was the fourth oldest of the five children. He had seven half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Henry, Benjamin, Phillip, Robert, Walter, Samuel, Walter, Elizabeth, Elizabeth, Ruth, Elizabeth, Mary and Meannah.
