James FISHER

James was born in 1796 in Kintbury and his baptism took place there on September 18th, 1796. James' father was John FISHER and his mother was Mary COLBOURNE. His paternal grandparents were James FISHER and Sarah; his maternal grandparents were Jonathan COLBOURNE and Hannah SMITH. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named James, John, Thomas, William, Benjamin, Charles, Henry, Anne, Sarah, Hannah and Caroline. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 87 in 1883.
