Emma was born in 1852 in Kintbury.  Emma's father was John FISHER and her mother was Phoebe BENNETT. She had four brothers and four sisters, named George, William, Thomas, Arthur, Sarah, Elizabeth, Caroline and Ellen.  She was the eighth oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 25 in 1877.
