Ann was born on July 30th, 1836 in Shoreditch and her baptism took place there on June 30th, 1837.  Ann's father was William FIELDING and her mother was Ann CRUMP.  Her maternal grandparents were Benjamin CRUMP and Ann. She had three brothers and a sister, named William, Charles, George and Emily.  She was the third oldest of the five children.
