Mary was born in 1884 in Cairo.  Mary's father was John Mordecai COBBOLD and her mother was Ana DIAZ.  Her paternal grandparents were John COBBOLD and Eliza SIMPSON; her maternal grandparents were Alfonso DIAZ and <Unknown>. She had four brothers named John, Andrew, Thomas and George.  She died at the age of 1 in 1885 in Cairo.
