Mary was born in 1747 in Brettenham and her baptism took place there on November 22nd, 1747.  Mary's father was George BRAGG and her mother was Mary BUCKNUM.  Her maternal grandparents were George BUCKNUM and Mary HAYWARD. She had two brothers and a sister, named George, Joseph and Elizabeth.  She was the oldest of the four children.  She died at the age of 76 in 1823 in Thorpe Morieux.  The funeral took place on November 1st, 1823 in Thorpe Morieux.
