Percy Charles BOWERS

Percy was born in June 1922 in Wix and his baptism took place on July 30th, 1922 in Great Oakley.

Percy's father was George Arthur BOWERS and his mother was Ellen Jane BRITTON. His paternal grandparents were Henry BIRD and Mary Ann BOWERS. He had five brothers and five sisters, named William, Stanley, Frank, Ralph, Dennis, Edith, Molly, Hilda, Ruby and Peggy. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children.
