William was born in 1621 in Thorpe Morieux and his baptism took place there on March 22nd, 1621.  William's father was Thomas BIXBY and his mother was Alice ROOKE. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, William, Alice, Anne, Mary, Jane, Jane and Eliza.  He was the seventh oldest of the nine children.  He died as an infant in 1621 in Thorpe Morieux.  The funeral took place on March 27th, 1621 in Thorpe Morieux.
