Thomas was born in 1687 in Thorpe Morieux and his baptism took place there on May 9th, 1687.  Thomas' father was Thomas BIXBY and his mother was Frances KERRINGTON.  His paternal grandparents were William BIXBY and Margaret; his maternal grandparents were John KERRINGTON and Elizabeth. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Robert, William, Jeremiah, Mary, Ann and Sarah.  He was the oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 24 in 1711.  The funeral took place on December 25th, 1711.
