Sarah was born in 1700 in Felsham and her baptism took place on September 19th, 1700 at Felsham Parish Church.  Sarah's father was Thomas BIXBY and her mother was Frances KERRINGTON.  Her paternal grandparents were William BIXBY and Margaret; her maternal grandparents were John KERRINGTON and Elizabeth. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, John, Robert, William, Jeremiah, Mary and Ann.  She was the seventh oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 68 in 1768.  The funeral took place on April 12th, 1768.
