Jeremiah was born in 1704 in Felsham and his christening took place there on February 21st, 1704.  Jeremiah's father was Thomas BIXBY and his mother was Frances KERRINGTON.  His paternal grandparents were William BIXBY and Margaret; his maternal grandparents were John KERRINGTON and Elizabeth. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, Robert, William, Mary, Ann and Sarah.  He was the youngest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 74 in 1778 in Felsham.  The funeral took place on February 11th, 1778 in Felsham.
