Jane was born in 1616 in Thorpe Morieux and her baptism took place there on July 18th, 1616.  Jane's father was Thomas BIXBY and her mother was Alice ROOKE. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, William, William, Alice, Anne, Mary, Jane and Eliza.  She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.  She died as an infant at the age of 1 in 1617 in Thorpe Morieux.  The funeral took place on March 8th, 1617 in Thorpe Morieux.
