Anne was born in 1612 in Thorpe Morieux and her baptism took place there on January 28th, 1612.  Anne's father was Thomas BIXBY and her mother was Alice ROOKE. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, William, William, Alice, Mary, Jane, Jane and Eliza.  She was the third oldest of the nine children.
