Alice was born in 1610 in Thorpe Morieux and her baptism took place there on June 7th, 1610.  Alice's father was Thomas BIXBY and her mother was Alice ROOKE. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, William, William, Anne, Mary, Jane, Jane and Eliza.  She was the second oldest of the nine children.
